Saltaire
Saltaire is a unique and beautiful Victorian model village which has recently
achieved world heritage status. Built between 1851 and 1876 Titus Salt
created 'a paradise on the sylvan banks of the Aire.' Much of the village
still remains as it did when Titus Salt died in 1876. The mill now houses
the worlds' largest collection of work by David Hockney.
