The World of James Herriot
Discover the real James Herriot and relive the famous TV series ' All Creatures Great and Small' in the three studio sets, situated in Skeldale House. The World of James Herriot also houses the only Veterinary Science museum in the country with over 4,000 objects in the collection.

Magna is a science adventure centre in Sheffield, including a range of activities and workshops - a perfect day out for all the family !

Skipton Castle
Over 900 years old, Skipton Castle is one of the most complete and best preserved medieval castles in England and is well worth a visit. Visitors can explore every corner of this impressive history-rich castle, which withstood a three-year siege during the Civil War.

Haworth
Visitors can tour the Georgian Parsonage Museum, home to the Brontes, which contains a vast collection of their artefacts and also see the village church where most of their family are buried. Tourists can also view the sites and the buildings, which provided inspiration for novels like Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre.

Saltaire
Saltaire is a unique and beautiful Victorian model village which has recently achieved world heritage status. Built between 1851 and 1876 Titus Salt created 'a paradise on the sylvan banks of the Aire.' Much of the village still remains as it did when Titus Salt died in 1876. The mill now houses the worlds' largest collection of work by David Hockney.

The National Museum of Film, Photography and Television
This award winning museum contains highly interactive displays and galleries dedicated to digital technology, news, animation and light.
